The Rollingwood community is served by the Eanes Independent School District (ISD). Considered to be one of the state’s top school districts, the Eanes ISD consists of six elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school. All nine of the schools have been rated as Exemplary by the Texas Education Agency. The district itself has also earned a designation of Exemplary, which is the highest rating a district can achieve. Only 9.5 percent of districts throughout the state are rated as Exemplary. In addition to offering top-notch educational opportunities, the district is also known for its outstanding athletic programs.

Rollingwood is designated as the area located between Westlake and Austin with its boundaries being Park Hills Drive at Laura Lane, Stratford Drive, Ridgewood Road and Zilker Park. With construction in Rollingwood beginning in 1948, the community features a number of homes built in the late 20th century. As the community continues to be developed, new construction has been taking place on a regular basis. The Rollingwood Neighborhood Association is active in continuing with the community’s planning and development.
