Do you love art?  If so, you will be thrilled by all of the art opportunities available in the Austin area.  Here is a look at just some of what Austin has to offer.

23rd Street Artists Market

The 23rd Street Artists Market is an open-air crafts market that is located across from the University of Texas.  This market showcases unique handicrafts and is open every day from 8:00 in the morning until 10:00 at night.

Art on 5th

Art on 5th showcases a variety of originally pieces as well as contemporary fine art prints. It is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 in the morning to 6:00 at night.

Arthouse

Arthouse strives to promote appreciate of local contemporary artists. In addition to its exhibits, Arthouse also provides programming throughout the state that tries to help the public better understand contemporary art.

Casa Cubana

Casa Cuban helps to showcase the Cuban culture through art and special programming.

D Berman Gallery

The D Berman Gallery displays rotating works of regional contemporary fine art.  The gallery is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11:00 in the morning to 6:00 in the evening.  Appointments can also be made to visit the gallery at other times.

El Taller Gallery

The El Taller Gallery exhibits artwork from artists from all over the Midwest, including works from local artists as well as master artists.  The gallery is open on Tuesdays through Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Gallery Nevena

Gallery Nevena provides a selection of contemporary fine art from artists from Eastern Europe and Bulgaria.
 
Wild About Music Gallery

The Wild About Music Gallery combines the love for music with fine art, with a gallery of works from both local and national artists.
 
Gallery Pollock

 
The Gallery Pollock contains a permanent collection of contemporary architecture, music, and lifestyle photography created by Larry Pollock and Dustin Wayman.  It also features special exhibits from a variety of other artists as well as pencil drawings from the University of Texas’s Professor in Fine Arts, Bill Francis.
 
Russell Collection Fine Art

The Russell Collection Fine Art features a world class collection of artwork, including pieces by Manet, Chagall, Miro, Picasso, Matisse, an d Pissarro.  The museum is open Mondays through Saturdays from 10:00 in the morning to 6:00 in the evening and on Sundays from noon until 5:00 at night.
