Initially founded in 1873, the city of Cedar Park was created around the ranch of George and Harriet Cluck. Following the development of the railroad in the area, Austin residents began traveling to the area in order to spend time in the park located near to the train depot. Today, the city is the fourth-fastest growing city in the country. With its nearby lakes and parks, breathtaking views, award-winning schools, close proximity to major employers and affordable housing options, it is likely to remain one of Austin’s most popular places to purchase a home.
